My name is Alan Ferris. I’m from Gorey, Wexford. I have had an interest in cars my entire life and this lifelong enthusiasm has guided my personal and professional development. Setting up this business has been a long term goal, and I’ve recently taken the exciting step toward making that vision a reality.

The process
What is PDR?
Paint less Dent Removal (PDR) is a specialised technique used to remove minor dents and dings from a vehicle's body without needing to repaint. It's especially effective for small-to-medium dents where the paint is still intact — like hail damage, door dings, or low-speed impacts.
1. Accessing the Dent
Technicians first determine the best way to access the backside of the dent — usually by removing trim panels, lights, or even reaching through wheel wells.
2. Reforming the Panel from the Inside
Using a variety of specialised metal rods, tools, and picks, the technician gently pushes the dent out from the inside of the panel.
The process requires precise control, working slowly to manipulate the metal back to its original shape without damaging the paint.
3. Finishing Touches
For small imperfections remaining after pushing, they may use glue pulling from the outside (attaching plastic tabs with glue and pulling the dent) or gentle tap-down techniques.
Once the dent is smooth again, the panel is cleaned and polished.
If the paint is cracked or the metal is badly creased, traditional bodywork may still be needed — but for many everyday dents, PDR is the go-to solution.
PDR VS. TRADITIONAL PANEL BEATING
There is less risk to your vehicle compared to panel beating because instead of adding materials that were never there (filler) we simply use the original bodywork. Which retains your original factory paint finish.
